Click on the title for a more in-depth discussion of The Benefits of Cauliflower. I made the dish pictured in this blog post. It is so easy to make and takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. Take a nice looking head of cauliflower and apply a light coating of avocado oil. You only need enough to make the spices stick. Technically, you can use any substance that will help the spices adhere to the surface of the cauliflower. Try a little agave or maple syrup to add a tinge of sweetness. Place the cauliflower head on a baking sheet and apply a coating of your favorite spices. I like turmeric, cumin, chili powder, coriander, cinnamon, cloves and five spice. I stuff it with garlic too. Place the preparation in an oven preheated to 250 degrees and let it slow roast until encrusted and tender.
